Review of 2012 Mazda 5
2012 Mazda 5 –Multi-activity vehicle, as Mazda calls it, made its debut in North America at the Los Angeles auto show during November, 2010. Covered below is a brief review of the vehicle.
Engine Specs
Under the hood, Mazda5 for 2012 integrates a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine for generating an output power of 157 hp and torque of 163 pf. The base Sport trim is connected to a standard 6-speed manual transmission, while the Touring and Grand Touring models have a standard 6-speed automatic transmission.

Salient Features
The base Sport trim is included with 16-inch alloy wheels, power windows/door locks, split folding 3rd row seats, and CD/AM/FM stereo system with 6 speakers.
The more advanced Touring model is added with 17-inch alloy rims, leather-covered steering wheel, trip computer, Bluetooth connectivity for mobile phones, and much more.
The higher-end Grand Touring model adds standard features like leather-trimmed seats, rain-sensing windshield wipers, power moon-roof, Sirius satellite radio, and high-intensity xenon headlamps.
The standard safety features of all the models include tire pressure monitoring systems, anti-lock brakes, and stability control.
Pricing Details
The base price of the six-passenger 2012 Mazda 5 is around $19,990. The Touring model is priced at $21,990, while that of Grand Touring is around $24,670.
